Travel 🚁
You’re probably now starting to check travel combinations to come to the project. So let’s try to put some light on all the things you should know before booking anything.
When and where?
The arrival day is June 22.
The departure day is June 30.
We expect you to arrive and leave the project on those dates.
Consider it may be challenging, but worthy to reach this corner of Europe from your country. So be ready to feel the adventure of being on the way. We encourage you to mind your CO2 emissions when designing your trip itinerary. Remember the train is x5 more eco-friendly than the plane so, if it is an option for you, prioritize coming by land rather than by air (and yeah, you’ll discover breathtaking Bulgarian landscapes).
Accommodation 🏡
The training course will take place in Lozen, Bulgaria (10 km from the capital, Sofia), in the training centre of the Bulgarian Red Cross. It is situated in a beautiful pine forest at the foot of Lozen Mountain near Sofia. The training facility has extra features, some
of which are not covered by the project. At your own expense you can enjoy tennis courts, fields for mini-football, archery, and more. It is the perfect place for all the activities we have prepared for you!
